Romney-Ryan, Rolls-Royce and Cat Food

August 14, 2012

Stranger than Fiction – is the creepy similarity between Romney/Ryan and Gul Dukat/Weyoun, two insidious characters from Deep Space Nine. The actor who played the clone Weyoun described his personality – “I played him as if he prided himself on how eloquent and elegant he could be, and on his ability to manipulate and cajole. He considered himself really adept at the political game.”

The Grover Norquist Dream Team

“We are not auditioning for fearless leader,” Grover Norquist told conservatives at the CPAC convention in February. “We don’t need a president to tell us in what direction to go. We know what direction to go. We want the Ryan budget. … We just need a president to sign this stuff. We don’t need someone to think it up or design it. The leadership now for the modern conservative movement for the next 20 years will be coming out of the House and the Senate.”

Norquist went on: “Pick a Republican with enough working digits to handle a pen to become president of the United States. This is a change for Republicans: the House and Senate doing the work with the president signing bills. His job is to be captain of the team, to sign the legislation that has already been prepared.”

This is the agenda of the Koch brothers, the Tea Party, the republicans and the right wing nut cases.
To bad most of them don’t realize that unless they make more than $250,000-$1,000,000 a year they will be left in the dust and when the middle class is sucked dry the rich will continue to eat from the bottom up until only the super rich are left.
$730 billion for the Medicare Prescription Drug Bill. Isn’t that about what President Obama’s ACA health care bill is going to cost? Then on down the road start controlling some of the costs of healthcare?
No one was screaming back then about paying for all that.
What’s different now?
Oh. Yeah.
There’s a “Democrat” in the White House as President.
Thank You for visiting.
I hope you have a good day.
I may have to make a ‘pastafarian news’ category
But the real question is: Is he affiliated with New Rising Missionary Baptist Council of 1879 or New Rising Missionary Baptist Council of 1912?
